PingPongMap

PingPongMap allows the user to effectively find a ping pong table near their location. Each ping pong table is located on the map with coordinates so that the user can access:

  • Exact location

  • Exact distance

  • Users Reviews

  • Photos

The user can create a profile for the Pingpongmap community in order to:

  • Report a new table

  • Upload photos

  • Give a rating

  • Report problems

  • Create a list of favorites

  • Share the location of the table with friends

  • Organize a tournament

App Design

The design process for the PingPongMap app starts by creating a user persona to understand the target audience, such as ping pong enthusiasts, players, or clubs looking for nearby courts. Information architecture is developed through a sitemap to define the app’s navigation, including features like location-based court search, user reviews, and event schedules.

Low-fidelity wireframes are created to outline the app's layout and user interactions, which evolve into high-fidelity mockups with a vibrant, energetic color palette and bold typography reflecting the active nature of ping pong.

The design is refined through prototyping and user feedback, ensuring it’s intuitive and meets the needs of players before development.
